The first music festival for St Albans. Amazing acts, all inclusive activities and of course your favourite local brewery running an amazing bar selling a wide range of real ale, craft lager, chilled prosecco and delicious ciders. Our enormous tipi will be situated right near the main stage and will always have a very warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. Can't wait be involved in this amazing community festival with so many brilliant local businesses.

Harpenden Farmer's Market takes place on the 4th Sunday of the month from 10.00am to 2.00pm.

The Farmers' Market accommodates approximately 70 stalls and runs northbound along the Lower High Street. Each Market finds a huge selection of produce available including:

Beers, Meats, pies, sausages, game meats, Preserves – pickles, jams and honey. Cheeses, Vegetables, Flowers and plants. Fresh bread, cakes and pastries, Eggs and Organic produce.


Food Festival

The festival showcases the fantastic range of food, drink and produce available throughout St Albans District. With so many excellent eateries providing fabulous food and delightful drinking holes, the festival is a great time to try something new or different. St Albans Street Finale on 2 October from 12-6pm and Food & Drink Awards will be revealed at Sopwell House Hotel on Monday 2nd October.


To celebrate the amazing efforts of our hard working hop farmers we are officially launching our first ever Hop Collective beer, grown purely by the community. Come down from 5pm on Thursday the 5th to raise a glass and share your success stories... There have been a wide variety of successes but every cone counts and every effort is appreciated. We look forward to tasting what we have created.

The Thirteenth Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre is going to be better than ever! The Fayre will extend from the historic Angel Hill and Abbey Gardens to the modern Arc shopping centre and The Apex. Add in the cosmopolitan town centre of Bury St Edmunds, the regular street market and some excellent entertainment, it’s a great day out for all ages. With over 300 stalls selling a variety of gifts, crafts, food, seasonal produce and much more, there is something for everyone.

During the two days we have over two thousand visitors through the gate browsing over 30 wonderful stallholders with hot food and drink available, it’s a lovely atmosphere and free entry. A broad range of wonderful Christmas gifts and local produce for you to choose from.

We are showcasing some of the fantastic local businesses that are involved in food and drink to launch Wheathampstead’s “Buy it Locally” campaign in the Diamond Jubilee Gardens, Wheathampstead.
Local suppliers will be manning stalls so you can find out more about their produce and taste a sample or two.
There is also a chance to meet BILLY the Bee and take part in a Treasure Hunt so there will be plenty of fun for younger members of the family too.

In the last two weeks before Christmas, why not visit our on site tap room to enjoy a relaxing beer, take part in one of our in depth brewery tours and the chance to buy all the beers you need for the Christmas period. 

The tap room will be open between 11am and 3pm on week days & between 11am and 5pm at weekends.
